German manufacturer Möve focuses on all things “made in Germany” for their bikes, presenting an urban city ebike made of titanium. With its 3D-printed frame and 13.5 kg system weight, the Avian rolls into the new season with an organic design language and discreet incognito look. We took a closer look!

At EUROBIKE 2024, German brand Möve just introduced the Avian, an urban city ebike made of titanium. True to the “Made in Germany” motto, Möve bikes rely on sustainable materials and technologies. The result? A discreet ebike that looks a lot like an analogue bike. Sounds exciting!

According to the German manufacturer, the unpainted, raw 3D-printed titanium frame allows them to keep the weight down to just 13.5 kg. Their VER-TEC ebike frame technology replaces conventional welding with a joining technology in which the 3D-printed titanium sleeves are bonded to hydroformed titanium tubes. In case of damage, broken parts of the frame can be replaced, as the adhesive can be liquefied again at 200 degrees – smart!

For longer city tours, the fully integrated battery in the down tube can be expanded with a range extender, which can be secured to a dedicated mount on the down tube. The Möve bike is powered by a MAHLE X20 rear hub motor, which delivers 55 Nm of torque. The dynamic riding mode automatically adapts the assistance to the riding situation. If you don’t want to operate the Möve via the display on the top tube, you can use a mobile phone or Apple Watch.

The mudguards, pannier rack, kickstand and Supernova light make the Möve the ideal companion for urban adventures and commutes. A very exciting detail is the saddle, with male- and female-specific options available. The Möve is yours for € 7,490.

The Möve Avian is a well thought-out ebike that packs technology and sustainability into an elegant design. By using titanium instead of carbon, Möve deliver a sleek look while breaking new ground in the process. We’re looking forward to testing the Avian in detail in 2025, and we’re excited to see how it performs.
